BDO World Darts Championship Betting Information

The BDO World Darts Championship is a darts tournament run by the British Darts Organsiation (BDO) and has been played annually since 1978. It was the only world darts championship until 1994 when the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) broke away following a dispute with the BDO. Since the mid 1980's the BDO World Darts Championship has been held at the Lakeside Country Club in Frimley Green, Surrey.

Eric Bristow has won the BDO title most times with 5 victories whilst more recently Raymond van Barneveld has won 4 titles. Martin Adams has won the title 3 times in the last 6 years as well as featuring in the final 5 times over the last 8 years. Dutchman Christian Kist is the current reigning champions.
