The World Seniors Snooker Championship is a new snooker tournament pitting some of the greatest snooker players against each other to become the World Seniors Champion.
The tournament will be held in Peterborough in November with matches being played over three frames and a 30-second shot clock will ensure that the action is non-stpo. The prize pot is £53,000 and will be contested between 16 famous players with the winner taking home £18,000.
