World Open Snooker Betting Information
The World Open is a 'major' ranking professional snooker tournament and has been known under other guises such as the Professional Players Tournament, the LG Cup and the Grand Prix with it being rebranded as the World Open as recently as 2010 following Barry Hearn's takeover of the World Professional Billiards and Snooker Association.
The 2010 World Open was the first time a World Snooker ranking event has been open for amateur snooker players with them having to win three matches to qualify for the main draw.
